Overview

        The company has arranged routine test platform for optically controlled converter valve, electrically controlled converter valve and flexible DC converter valve; It has built 6.5 kA test system for converter valve operation with the largest current capacity in the world and an insulation test system for ±1100 kV ultra high voltage DC converter valve, etc..The product is applicable to back-to-back network engineering, high voltage DC transmission project, ultra high voltage DC transmission project, rated DC voltage: +125kV-1100 kV, rated DC current: 3000A-5000A.

        HVTV 2000 series of converter valve has adopted international quality standards, using advanced auxiliary elements, fireproof materials with high performance. The designed converter valve has compact structure, low loss and the whole concept of redundancy. It is safe and reliable to operate and has significant advantages. HVTV 2000 series of converter valve is divided into two types, that is, electrically controlled type and optically controlled type.

Ø   Characteristics of electrically controlled converter valve

          • It is compatible with 4 inches, 5 inches and 6 inches thyristor of photoelectric conversion type, with a current transmission capacity up to 6250A

          • Modular structure with 14 to 15 diodes of thyristor concatenating in a component

          • Installation structure of suspension type with a strong anti-seismic ability 

          • Converter valve adopts oil-free element and has a good fire protection features 

          • Component structure is compact and the valve tower is small in size

          • It is safe, simple and fast to maintain the site of valve tower

Ø Characteristics of optically controlled converter valve

          •  It uses a light of 5 inches to directly trigger the thyristor,and the current transmission is up to 3200A

          •  Modular structure with 26 to 30 diodes of thyristor concatenating in a component

          •  Installation structure of flexible suspension type with a strong anti-seismic ability

          •  Converter valve adopts oil-free element, has a good fire protection features

          •  Component structure is compact,and the valve tower is small in size
